We’re Hiring: Elementary Agriculture Specialist
FAITC is excited to announce that we are hiring an Elementary Agriculture Specialist, a position dedicated to strengthening agricultural literacy in elementary classrooms across Florida. This specialist supports educators by transforming agricultural, food, and environmental topics into engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with Florida’s academic standards.
The role focuses on creating and updating instructional resources, delivering professional development, supporting teacher networks, and expanding FAITC’s outreach and digital presence. Working closely with FAITC leadership, the Board of Directors, and key state and community partners, the Elementary Agriculture Specialist plays a vital role in advancing FAITC’s mission and ensuring teachers have the tools and confidence to integrate agriculture into everyday learning.
