Hurricane Michael Relief Grants Available

Florida Agriculture in the Classroom will be offering grants to schools in the panhandle that were damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Michael. To be eligible for the grant the school’s agriculture program/project had to be established before the storm. Only schools is the counties listed below are eligible to apply for the grant. The maximum amount allowed to be requested is $2,000. Grants will be awarded until all funds have been encumbered. Final reports must include photo documentation of the project (start to finish) and receipts that equal the awarded amount. Final reports are due Friday, May 24, 2019. Hurricane Michael Relief Grants

These grants are for schools that had established agriculture programs/projects that was destroyed or damaged by Hurricane Michael. The eligible Florida counties are: Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Leon, Liberty, Wakulla and Washington.
  • Can request up to $2,000.
  • Include all the items you would like to purchase and the price per item. This list should equal the amount requested above.

    Photo(s) of the area where you would like to rebuild your program must be included. If available also include before photos and storm damage photos.
