Grant Applications Available Now

Florida Agriculture in the Classroom has two grant opportunities available for Florida teachers that are available August 1. 

  1. $500 School Garden Grants – Florida Agriculture in the Classroom, Inc’s School Garden Grant Program is designed to fund school garden projects that will educate Florida’s students about the importance of agriculture and allow teachers to use a school garden to teach Florida standards. This grant is an online application and will be awarded on a first‐come, first‐serve basis to those who meet all of the grant requirements.

  2. Teacher Grants – The teacher grant is open to general education and agriscience teachers in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade who want to use agricultural concepts to teach core subject areas. The deadline for applications is October 1, but we will only be accepting the first 40 complete applications. Be sure to read the PowerPoint and Guidelines for helpful hints on completing the application correctly.
