FAITC’s First Recipe Contest

Florida Agriculture in the Classroom is holding it’s first recipe contest.┬áThe goal of this project is to expose students to growing their own produce and encourage healthy eating habits. Students and teachers will work together to create easily replicated, healthy recipes that teach students healthy cooking skills and introduce fun ways to eat garden produce.

There will be three categories: Elementary (K-5th), Middle School (6th-8th), and High School (9th-12th).

Any Florida school that has a school garden is eligible to enter a recipe. Recipes must be submitted by January 31, 2019.
