Approved items to purchase are seeds, soil, plants, fertilizers, raised bed materials, greenhouse materials, irrigation/watering systems and gardening tools. *Even if students will be designing and budgeting this garden project, we still need an itemized budget from the teacher to give FAITC an idea of the scope of project.Detailed timeline of your project throughout the school year. Outline how you plant to accomplish your project, include garden preparation, lessons, planting, harvesting, etc. *A detailed timeline shows FAITC that you have thoroughly thought through the entire garden project. Include what you will do each month to ensure the project's success.List at least one new plant you will plant in your garden this school year that you have not planted before. *A requirement for this grant is to record the number of students trying new fruits and vegetables. I understand that I must take a survey of my students at the beginning of the garden project.
